What does an Account Coordinator do to help us succeed?

You are a key piece of keeping the entire team up to date with client projects, timelines, upcoming events and updates on client priorities and upcoming projects. We need feedback or input from clients? You’re our in-house lead to help manage client communication and project milestones, with the support of the rest of the team of course. We say lead because we know that no one person can do it all; we want someone who’s an advocate for our clients and can help make sure their priorities are front and centre for the rest of the team.

The successful Account Coordinator will provide administrative and customer service support to our sales and production team, assisting in communication, timeline management, and project delivery for clients. The successful candidate will also support the day-to-day administration of marketing and advertising initiatives to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. The ideal candidate is excited by, and comfortable with, maintaining a high level of awareness of client activities, detail-oriented program and project management, and professional communication with key client contacts. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Help manage and track key client account budgets
  • Attend to the needs of the client and continually seek ways to add value to the client-agency relationship
  • Prepare, or support the creation of, account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, meeting reports, proposals and other client communications and correspondence
  • Work with internal sales and marketing teams
  • Proactively communicate with clients on a daily basis in a professional, efficient manner
  • Maintain client accounts
  • Learn, develop and maintain a working-level understanding of assigned client’s industries, company culture, products/services and strategic communication plan


Day-to-Day Duties

  • Collect and review vendor quotes related to client projects, and coordinate production specs for client projects with internal or external resources
  • Act as an advocate within the organization for key clients
  • Create and provide feedback on project estimates and timelines
  • Communicate with clients
  • Participate in and document discussions during client meetings and conference calls
  • Review and compose correspondence with key clients and suppliers working on key client projects


Education & Experience Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in the field, preference for agency experience or complex service oriented businesses

  • Problem solving skills to understand client challenges and help provide relevant insights and suggestions to the team
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Experience with organizational project management or organizational business administration
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to think creatively and be excited about our clients and their objectives
