4 - 6 years of professional experience with a minimum of 2 years in project management

Proven skills in vendor selection and management.

Assessing experience and qualifications of individuals who have not completed an apprenticeship program in Ontario

3+ years’ experience in project management.

Management or supervisory experience required.

Knowledge of policies and procedures related to human resource, operations, and financial management.

Manage cross divisional communication between the Faculty of Skills and Foundational Learning and other College areas.

A combination of education and experience can be considered in the case of a BA.

Master’s degree, preferably in an education, social sciences, or applied linguistic related discipline.

Establish and recommend budget requirements based on operational activities to ensure effective resource and expense management at all times.

1-2 years of supervisory experience (Facility Management, Full time or Part time staff)

Project Management experience and methodology with respect to strategic plans, and projects

Experience being the liaison for Line of Business teams to Senior Management

Project Management skills and methodology leading projects of medium to large complexity

Well-developed Relationship Management skills to interface with clients and vendors

Knowledge of multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and practical understanding of project management platforms (including ClickUp).

Design and develop effective expansion project management frameworks that align with our organisation's strategic objectives.

Experience working on cross-functional and multi-partner projects, ideally within the education sector.

Experience working with remote teams across multiple time zones and familiarity with new territory expansions.

Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of projects are carefully managed and problems are proactively addressed.

Communicate complex project plans to various audiences, utilising strong presentation skills when necessary.

Identify project concerns proactively and alert management of potential risks on assigned projects.

Knowledge of utility construction requirements and activities.

Scheduling experience and analysis skills.

Minimum 5-10 years of industry experience.

Technical background with professional accreditation (P.Eng./ CET) or equivalent industry experience.

Past experience working on utility projects.

Minimum 2 years of related experience

Previous design experience, hands on construction experience and/or work with existing facilities is considered an asset

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and deliverables on an ongoing basis

Working knowledge of construction materials and products used in building construction, with a focus on concrete, steel, and wood

Must have a working knowledge and ability to use programs such as SAP, Bluebeam, woodworks, and various Office programs

Account Management, Corporate Finance / Operations Experience

Strong English communications skills, (French is considered an asset language)

3 year of operations/business analysis experience at a big 4 firm or 5 years of business experience

Experience working with First Nations

One year of experience working within an economic development environment, preferably within the public sector.

One year of sector research and community engagement experience.

Degree in community planning or economic development.

Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
