A minimum 9 years of project management experience or equivalent.

Full project lifecycle experience (starting and closing projects in 2-3 years timelines)

Experience in generation and stations capital projects. In lieu, other utility construction experience.in underground or civil greenfield or brownfield build projects.

ITIL v3 Foundations certification and PMP designation is an asset

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ability to interact and work collaboratively with senior Firm leadership.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to adjust messaging as appropriate to the audience

Project Manager, Information Technology Services – Technology and Infrastructure

Employment Type: 6 months contract with high possibility of extension

University degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent Engineering Degree

Preferred Project Management Institute Accreditation or in progress

Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction and technology methods, industry practices, estimating/budgeting, tendering, scheduling and safety requirements

Capable to resolve project disputes with minimal management assistance

Manage project costs through change order and contract adjustment procedures during construction

Review and update schedule, cost forecasts and cash flow requirements with the VP of construction monthly

Travel to field sites throughout Alberta to assist Project Managers and Field Crews.

2+ years of previous project coordinator experience or related experience.

5+ years’ experience in the Geomatics industry in the field and office.

Working knowledge of current AutoCAD and/or MicroSurvey software; Trimble Business Center (TBC) and Microsoft 365 software.

Report and escalate to management as needed

Perform risk management to minimize project risks

5 (five) years’ experience in IT infrastructure and as an interim PM.

Practical PM experience in Cybersecurity audit remediation with implementing solutions to address audit findings - ideal

Handling and manage suppliers and vendors

Handling managed services for implementations

5 - 7 years of project management experience, representing owners in the delivery of building developments.

Provide oversight and leadership to the change management process, payment certificates and other contract or project related administrative documents.

Strong understanding of best practice Project Management methodologies and procedures within a PMO environment

Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications

Manage all stakeholders including both clients and consultants;

Demonstrable experience in the initiation, planning and delivery of complex municipal infrastructure projects

Preference will be given to candidates with 2+ experience in infrastructure/P3, construction and/or facility management

Manage the contract process through Affinitex including data entry and trouble shooting

Collaborate with corporate for travel arrangements for the Asset Management group

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Organize, schedule and take minutes during project board meetings

Coordinate with Project Directors to capture safety metrics for investors

5+ years of experience in Project Management practices and methodology

Project Management Professional (PMP), CSM, ACP, ITIL certifications are assets
