5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Product Owner

Developed or maintained effective Incident Management processes

Is proactive in stakeholder management and establishing relationship with end-users

A minimum of 2-5+ years of experience with technical project or program management.

Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills.

Manage multiple projects/programs within a large initiative spanning multiple teams within Ripple focused on Finance and Compliance solutions.

Drive the culture of quality around software development, release management and operational support.

Familiar with best-practice approaches towards incident, change, and problem management.

Proficient in software development life-cycle principles, including release management.

Experience in Risk management and contract knowledge is defined asset.

5-10 years of relevant experience in a project management role delivering complex transformation programs across cross-functional business areas.

Support the Security Director in delivering all security management functions related to Initial Works.

Assists with contract management, agreements, and stakeholder relationships, as required.

Attend to Safety Certification Committee or the Contracting Authority Safety Performance Review Committee and ensure all stakeholders follow the project’s requirements.

High level of proficiency in coordinating methodology and project management tools (PMP).

Experience with project management and work productivity tools such as Jira, Google Suite, SmartSheets

Work with teams to clarify objectives, KPIs and success criteria and communicate blockers, risks and outcomes to management

Take a data-driven approach to program management, building tools and leveraging data to drive stakeholder buy-in

Experience and comfort working with remote, distributed project teams

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience in related technical field

Prior experience with a public cloud such as AWS, GCP, etc.

Proven experience leading and executing complex, cross-functional programs. Strong problem solving and project/program management skills are a must.

Experience building, developing and managing highly effective program management tools and cadences

Demonstrated experience in analytics, including advanced proficiency in Excel and knowledge of SQL. Comfort with data visualization and dashboarding.

Represent your stakeholder team in collaborations with other Shopify teams, such as finance, legal, procurement, and commercial teams.

Ability to gather and integrate important information, distill and synthesize requirements to summarize program impacts and opportunities

Tech/e-commerce company experience, ideally experience negotiating with vendors, partners, or clients.

Excellent problem solving, analytical and time management skills

Experience with Project Management methodologies, strategic planning (phasing strategies, roadmaps, risk mitigation, etc.) and utilizing PM software tools (MS Project, Smartsheets)

Strong presentation and meeting management skills
