As a Sales Associate at Claire's, you will be responsible for:

1-2 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management

BA or BS in Communications, Management, Sales, or other related field is required

Impeccable time management with the ability to pivot in a fast-paced environment

Report weekly and monthly sales data to the Senior Business Development Manager to ensure proper KPIs are being met

Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills

Lead a high-performing team of Sales Assistants supporting a designated account through direct customer engagements

Analyze the sales pipeline and provide regular campaign status updates to forecast projected growth accurately

Actively identify and engage new potential accounts through individual sales efforts to increase market penetration and exceed sales targets

Execute sales deliverables and generate new revenue through prospecting, lead-generation techniques, and cross-selling opportunities

At least 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information

At least 6 months of retail experience

At least 6 months of experience as a Loader at other home improvement or hardware retailers

At least 6 months of retail merchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery, stocking, downstocking, facing/fronting products, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping

The qualifications we are looking for:

Permanent Full-Time Position – 37.5 hours/week

2 weeks vacation and Comprehensive group insurance coverage

Previous experience in a sales role or as an assistant is an asset

Knowledge of shipping and logistics processes, an asset

Attention to detail and accuracy

English is a must, bilingualism (English and French) is an asset

Ensure payment collection and manage unsubscriptions.

Experience in client service is an asset.

Knowledge or strong interest in agriculture or accounting.

Customer experience in a technological environment

Objective judgement and quick decision-making skills.

Receive and qualify requests from customers and prospects, ensuring they are processed by the sales team.

Data entry related to invoicing

Data entry related to contracts/jobs/treatment setups

Experience in a Customer Service role

Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills

Back up coverage for Dispatch

Various office duties including but not limited to opening mail, scanning, coding AP and mailing invoices
