Product Technical Specialist Jobs

Strong knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum processes and related tools (Jira).

Location: Hybrid, Downtown Toronto. (NOT REMOTE)

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and users to define a strategic product roadmap and inform product requirements

Maintain a prioritized product backlog and scope requirements into individual product releases and sprints

Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to convey ideas across technical and non-technical audiences

Experience driving product vision, strategic product roadmaps, go-to-market strategy, product ops, and design discussions.

5+ years of experience in product management/development; experience in security product management is an asset

Escalation Management for issues within their portfolio

Set and manage pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals

Engage with stakeholders at different levels internally to manage the development program (i.e. technology, IT, leadership, etc.)

Drive innovation and simplicity - ability to identify opportunities and drive improvements, standardization, and enablers to improve product experience.

Experience in business case development

Have 5-9+ years experience in the product management field with a strong portfolio that showcases a deep knowledge of human-centered design

Liaising with the software development team to create technical requirements and deliverables;

Experience in the financial services sector would be ideal.

Being a core team player for new product development and functional enhancements.

Getting hands on with turning the product vision and market research outcomes into a digital solution with desirable UX/UI design.

Working closely with cross functional teams on planning and understanding the business and user needs.

Strong understanding of the full SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) management, and several years’ experience working with it on a regular basis

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsible for stack management in Loopio for RFP responses

If needed, act as product responsible for occurrence management dealing with the 4 pillars: Safety, Security, Quality and Business impacts.

Experience developing under external industry standards or certifications

Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, technical aspects of architecture and integration to management, clients and staff

• a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science or Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or other similar degrees,

• advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint, and

• experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, etc.

The team is looking for a growth-oriented and curious product manager/business analyst who will:

• gain leadership skills and exposure to other leaders across the bank

• enhance presentation skills that cater to the audience using multiple mediums (verbal, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.),

Experience as a business analyst with strong requirement elicitation, analysis, domain modelling, use case modeling, workflow design, and documentation skills

Experience with project management (planning, monitoring, and reporting)

Working with product management, development, and other departments to actively remove blocking issues and ensuring program is on schedule

3-5 years of experience as a technical product manager or product owner

Creating and maintaining requirement artifacts (use cases, data models, flow charts, etc.)

Collaborating with other TPMs, architects, and Team Leads to drive requirements through the design phase

1+ year of experience working in a fast-growing B2C SaaS environment
