Understanding of lean, continuous improvement, quality and related topics, with relevant work experience

Related post-secondary business education degree or equivalent is preferred

Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsible for the business unit’s operations capacity planning and resources

You will lead Product development based initiatives to improve quality, automation, user experience and data analytics

You will own the final commissioning of projects and sign-off to ensure they meet all requirements

Experience with Product development - BAS programming or software development is a bonus

Experience working with MEP drawings, including controls drawings

Time by providing automated setpoints, proactive alerts and control from the cloud.

Assists in identifying the resource and material costs/requirements for the project

Provides support to entire product team on required purchases of materials, test equipment, and facility requirements

Post-secondary education, engineering degree is an asset.

PMI Certification is an asset

Familiarity with the product development process and the associated requirements of manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of PM tools.

1-2 years of relevant experience in project management, operations or other related field, preferably in a retail environment

Exceptional organization and time management skills, with high attention to detail

Coordinate and support the management and flow of critical information and data associated with relevant projects and work streams

Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Schedule, coordinate and support in facilitation of cross-functional workshops to build new strategies, processes and tools

Excellent leadership and management skills

PMP certification or equivalent training and experience

Extensive experience in quoting and costing as well as strong organization and planning skills

Experience in managing various trades and others from diverse engineering backgrounds

A strong knowledge of Controls Systems and can adequately estimate time to do various tasks

Experience in managing projects during commissioning phases and start-up

Multi-tasking and time management skills.

Sound overall knowledge of regulatory rules, policies, procedures in the areas of GMP, Quality, Environmental Management and Health & Safety.

Experience and aptitude for equipment, problem solving skills and the ability to think on one's feet in a fast-paced environment.

Supporting the optimization of production in compliance with product quality specifications and food safety requirements to meet production targets.

Challenge the status quo by offering ideas to make things better, faster and with value creation in mind

Foundational knowledge and understanding of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement principles.
