Education Programs Assistant Director Jobs

Minimum 8 years related work experience; prior management experience.

Oversee contracting processes with vendors (e.g., evaluation, procurement, data management, invoicing etc.)

Proven strength in human resources areas such as performance management, team leadership, and staff coaching/mentoring etc.

Manage the reporting of program results and development of business plans, ensuring outcomes meet and/or exceed funder contractual obligations.

Experience in proposal development, writing, budgeting, and responding to funding Requests for Proposals, and other funding submissions.

Exceptional planning, organization, and problem-solving skills; must be pro-active, and have a sense of urgency.

Experience in medical education program management, business practices, and project management.

Manages education related special projects and change management initiatives for the Department of Radiology.

Ensures programs are compliant with maintaining records in accordance with PGME and UBC’s records management policies and guidelines.

Demonstrates a commitment to enhancing one’s own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion

Experience managing staff, setting directives, delegating activities and offering constructive feedback.

Manages the Program Administrators including regular performance reviews, coaching, training, vacation coverage and tracking, team building, hiring and termination.

Management, supervision, and evaluation of all the organization’s programs.

Bachelor’s Degree in social work, Educational Leadership in the Human/Social Services field, or equivalent education and experience in a related field.

Organizes, stores, and distributes the tacit and explicit knowledge generated by the organization, its customers, and development of staff training.

Conducts research on adult education, homelessness, addiction, mental illness, labour market integration, community social and economic development.

Experience in creating, implementing, evaluating and improving systems of operations in programs and facilities.

A completed doctorate in education, but professionals with a master's degree will also be considered

Five years of successful teaching experience at the elementary/secondary level

Recent experience as a partner teacher or school liaison

Elementary Early Childhood Education, Elementary Inclusive Education, K-12 Early Childhood Education (Combined)

Ensuring others adhere to established risk management protocols during University events

Facilitating educational workshops and seminars

Screening and making referrals to academic advising and learning skills programs and other resources or services

Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.

Minimum four (4) years experience in programming and student engagement in the residences.

Experience developing and facilitating training and programming, and preparing accompanying resources, for students, student leaders, and/or student-staff
