Knowledge of another programming language e.g. Python is a plus

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent SQL skills and experience with writing and troubleshooting complex T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures

Use your T-SQL skills to extract and manipulate data to support data analysis and reporting

Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in BI and recommend solutions to improve the organization's BI capabilities.

5+ years of experience in a Power BI/Tableau Developer, or similar data-related role, developing sophisticated solutions and uncovering actionable insights

Achieve certification in vendor’s application as required

Microsoft BI certification is considered an asset

3 plus years’ experience in SQL Server 2019

Ability to lead and/or participate in requirement gathering sessions, document user requirements and translate them into useful solutions;

Experience developing indicators and associated documentation;

Experience in maintaining proper data governance best practices

100% remote in Quebec with occasional travel on Thursdays to the client's office in Montreal.

4 or more BI development experience: SQL, ETL, SSIS, Azure Synapse

Knowledge of administration of the Power BI platform

We are in the process of converting to Cloud technologies.

Deliver important and large-scale projects;

Develop BI best practices within the organization;

SQL and database management (e.g., work with DB objects, creating tables, views, stored procedures, functions, optimization).

Knowledge of AMS systems: FIS, HRIS or similar SAP-based data administration systems

Working knowledge of API layer, HTML, HTTP REST API, and web development and integration

Minimum five years of progressive management/leadership experience in a business or clinical operations. Experience with diagnostic imaging an asset

Certification in Power BI preferred

Experience in establishing and managing a BI Center of Excellence, with expertise in Power BI implementation and data governance
