Accounts Payable And Payroll Supervisor Jobs

Manage and monitor the AP workload, allocating an even workshare

Overseeing all outgoing payments (cheques, EFTs, wire transfers, etc.)

Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers

Complete month end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, journal entries

Liaise with auditors as required

• Post-secondary education in accounting/finance.

· Manage/administer expense reporting platform (Concur).

• Manage all payroll activities in accordance with federal and provincial statutory regulations.

• Confidentially manage sensitive information.

• 2+ years of experience in AP/AR/Payroll in a services/consulting firm.

• Previous experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

•College or university graduate preferably in a Financial related discipline or the equivalent experience.

•Experience with TimberScan, and SAGE 300 is an asset.

•Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

•Responsible for the complete, accurate and timely processing of all subcontractor and vendor invoices for multiple companies.

•Process monthly Government Remittances and issue payment

•Responsible for renewal of licenses, CVOR and other annual renewals.

Experience with accounting systems, ERPs, and billing management systems.

Perform data entry / processing / analysis and database development using Quick Base.

Manage office equipment and supplies.

Co-ordinate corporate insurance and professional licensing requirements.

2-4 years of relevant work experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.

Assist Management with budgetary concerns.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal effectively over the telephone.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Computerized payroll experience, preferably with PeopleSoft and/or Kronos.

Ongoing In-House Training & Education Courses (Lifelong learning)

Completion of 2 bi-weekly payroll cycles and transmission of EFT files.
