Overview A Zamboni Driver is responsible for operating a Zamboni machine to resurface ice rinks. They must ensure that the ice is properly groomed and that the ice surface is free of debris. Zamboni Drivers must also be knowledgeable about the proper maintenance and operation of the Zamboni machine. Detailed Job Description Zamboni Drivers are responsible for operating a Zamboni machine to resurface ice rinks. They must inspect the ice rink before and after each resurfacing to ensure that the ice is properly groomed and that the ice surface is free of debris. Zamboni Drivers must also be knowledgeable about the proper maintenance and operation of the Zamboni machine. They must be able to identify and repair any mechanical issues with the machine. Zamboni Drivers must also be able to follow safety protocols and be aware of any potential hazards on the ice. Job Skills Required
