Welder fitter looking for work Jobs in Ontario

Experience in the structural fabrication environment.

Must have experience in using overhead cranes.

A team player with strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.

Reading drawings to layout reference points and dimensions and weld track members on structural members such as W-shapes, HSS, and channels.

Carrying out necessary cutting, shaping, and welding with the right tools, supplies, and hand tools.

Checking that the finished product and its component parts adhere to specifications.

5 years’ experience as a Welder preferred

Experience in MIG and TIG welding

Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment

Hold valid Weld certificate in GMAW/FCAW AND GTAW

Fit/Weld Aluminum and Steel /Stainless

Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products

Determine required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques

Welder Trade Certification and/or CWB certification is preferred

Minimum 3-5 years industrial experience, with flux core welding and overhead crane operation

Experience in structural steel fabrication is preferred

Experience in the structural fabrication environment is preferred

Team player with good interpersonal skills, work ethic, and a positive attitude.
