Experience with OpenSource software and/or Service Management Tools and Applications (Satellite, Puppet, Zabbix, JIRA)

Manage and administer all IT Operations ticket queues (incidents & requests)

Manage and write Powershell scripts to assist in the automation of day-to-day tasks

1 - 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator within an IT Operations environment

Experience running and supporting a global 24x7 internet based service or product

As part of your responsibilities as a Systems Operator, you will:

Ability to multi-task and demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Apply the Utility Work Protection (UWPC) code according to SOC procedures.

Coordinate the interruption and restoration of service.

Assist with the arrangement and coordination of switching and Supporting Guarantees and customer outages.

Full-time operation and maintenance of water management systems.

Operation and maintenance of the Water Management System (WMS) located at the Milton and Acton Quarries.

Education, Certification and Other Qualifications Required

• Gas Pipeline Inspector certification is an asset.

• 0-8 ton crane certification is an asset.

• Post-secondary education in related fields is an asset.

• Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,Share Point and Esri).
