Expanding user interface for machine vision and AI tools to store, retrieve and display pertinent data.

Program and improve machine vision algorithms, interface with customer PLC's or sensors.

Use of OPC tools to collect data in SQL databases and creating BI and alerting tools.

Recently graduated from computer science of applicable technical training.

Two or more years of experience in software development.

Experience with .NET technologies, preferably WPF.

Experience with Python or C++ is considered an asset.

Good working knowledge of the MVVM design pattern.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Skilled in all aspects of the lifecycle of a product, including design, implementation, and testing.

At least 3+ years of experience working on data-driven web applications using SQL

Experience developing web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS on multiple platforms, including mobile devices

Development experience using JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular

Design and development experience for use cases involving real-time dashboards and analytic reports

Experience visualizing complex time series data using JavaScript libraries, such as Chart.js, FusionCharts, Highcharts, D3.js, etc

Web development experience in AWS, or other cloud platforms

Knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS), how it impacts design, and the skills to provide practical feedback to Development teams

Strong illustration and motion design skills and/or experience with creating micro-interactions that leverage UI animation and motion design

Knowledge or experience in mining or capital markets

This position is fully remote however there may be requirements and opportunities for travel from time to time.

Proven experience building intuitive multi-channel experiences including web and mobile applications (specifically native iOS apps)

Outstanding communication and presentation skills to tell your design stories and justify decision making to fellow designers, developers and other stakeholders

Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Remote Work Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, collaborating with teams across different time zones.

Conceptualization: Collaborate with the game development and art teams to understand project requirements and translate ideas into high-quality UI designs.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your UI design skills and projects in the mobile gaming or related industries.

Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in UI design, ideally with a focus on mobile games or applications.

Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Experience and domain knowledge of geospatial technology.

Experience and domain knowledge with one or more of Defense, ATC, and UAV applications and operations.

You have a track record of designing and creating great user experiences for end users.

A post-secondary degree in a field related to Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.

Strong verbal, written and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders.

Strong planning and organizational skills.
