Trims Developer Jobs

Developing a holistic knowledge of our product categories to apply trim solutions across categories

You have 1+ years of apparel/equipment industry experience related to trims and/or materials

You have a degree or diploma in Materials Science, Textile Technology, Product or Textile Design OR equivalent industry experience

You have strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks within tight deadlines

You have strong verbal and written communication skills

Preparing seasonal trim validation tech packs for handoff to Quality team ensuring calendar deadlines are met

B. Manages the Fabric needs of all 4 Banners by:

7. Understand, review, and manage capacity of mill/ trim vendors and adjust fabric/trim allocations accordingly.

4. Utilizing technology to offer continuous improvement and efficiencies; making recommendations to improve procedures.

· Experience in a vertical retailer

3. Maintain a high level of customer service to all Banners and the Category teams.

4. Research, nurture and maintain an effective, up-to-date sourcing library for the banners to create product from.

Team player, knowledge of cross-functional team accountabilities and requirements 

Provide creative trim solutions to enhance guest experience

Build relationship and rapport with vendors to understand and leverage their capabilities

5+ years of apparel industry experience working in textiles and/or trims

Strong knowledge of development techniques, (process/equipment etc.) for fabrics and trims as well as product development process and timelines.

Traveled to and worked on site with manufacturers around the world Strong knowledge of supply chain operations
