Experience developing, correlating, and delivery system or IBIS-AMI models for high-speed SerDes

Experience with EDA tools such as Advanced Design System and Sigrity

Experience with customer facing activities such as pre-sale evaluation and post-sale support on system models

Experience using system simulation tools – Matlab/Simulink, Perl, or other script tools

Strong mathematical skills, in particular linear systems (Fourier analysis, filter theory, etc.)

Coordinate with BUs to align IP strategy and requirements

In This Role, Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

Candidates Should Have Experience In One Of The Following

Perform IP comparisons and provide expert advice to product teams on IP competitiveness

Participate hands-on in system level evaluation studies and pathfinding exercises

Analyze foundry and IP vendor roadmaps to determine product intercepts

Create/investigate alternative solutions to meet the producibility requirements

Validate and document the test equipment built to ensure compliance to requirements

5 years minimum experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering

Experience in Elements of RF/Optical package and module design

Experience in Micro optical assemblies, fiber optic processes, optoelectronic technologies, related materials, solders, adhesives, related components and manufacturing methods

Experience in a formal development project environment is an asset

B.S. Electrical/Computer Engineering (or similar degree) plus 5+ years’ experience or M.S. plus 3+ years’ experience

BS or MS in engineering, operations management or a similar field with relative experience

Contribute to evaluating the benefits and creating design requirements for increased automation.

Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing process experience

Experienced with implementing fully or semi-automated assembly line equipment

Experience utilizing ERP, PLM and QMS

Experience holding staff accountable to execution according to the QMS.

Nokia products experience required (7950XRS, 7750SR, 7705SAR, 7210SAS and NSP).

Knowledge of BNG deployment with Nokia Products is required.

7+ years relevant work experience with a telecom communications equipment vendor or service provider in configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting IP/MPLS networks.

5+ years experience in IP routing protocols such as IS-IS, OSPF, BGP.

5+ years experience in in MPLS protocols LDP and RSVP-TE, and L2/L3 VPNs over MPLS.

5+ years experience in QoS implementation/testing.

Highly proficient and hands on experience in the following networking technologies OSPF/ISIS, MP-BGP, MPLS, L2VPN (VPLS, EVPN), L3VPN, Multicast, IPv6, IPSec.

Direct work experience with Juniper (MX, QFX, SRX), Cisco (ASR, NCS5K/9k, CAT9k) families of networking, switching, and security platforms

Demonstrated experience in SDN/NFV virtualization architecture for cloud data center design

Experience should also include the foundations for cloud-based infrastructure (Compute, Vmware NSX & Networking), software orchestration & automation

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is mandatory
