Overview:

Transport Truck Trailer Mechanics are responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting transport truck trailers. They must be knowledgeable in the operation of a variety of tools and equipment, as well as the use of diagnostic equipment to identify and repair mechanical issues. They must also be able to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. Transport Truck Trailer Mechanics must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

How To Become an Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic:

To become a Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic, you will need to complete a post-secondary program in automotive or diesel technology. You may also need to obtain certifications from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
