Air Transport Operations Support Supervisor Jobs

Assists supervisors in operations management, including management of external carriers;

Supports certain billing activities in the OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) system;

Supports the fleet management team in the follow-up of equipment repairs

In the process of obtaining a DEC in logistics or a BAC with a concentration in transportation or operations management;

Good judgment, ability to work under pressure and good management of priorities;

Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

3+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a transportation or logistics company

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others

Resolve complex customer issues, complaints, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, drivers, and other team members

Basic knowledge of U.S. Administration Regulations (FAA, FMC, EAR, Hazmat) and other government agency requirements

3-5+ years of relevant experience

1-3+ years of managing experience preferred

Ability to manage your own time and priorities workload to meet internal and external expectations

Good interpersonal and teamworking skills require

Experience of air freight imports/exports is a must

Good working knowledge of warehouse management systems.

Send out accurate and timely shift reports to upper management for review and feedback.

Assign work orders and manage workload using ERP software.

Communicate with Warehouse Supervisors and Warehouse Managers and respond to emails in an organized and professional manner.

Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Assist the department manager with the preparation of the departmental budget and ensure it is followed.

Manage conflicts in an innovative manner.

Level 1: 5-10 years’ experience in the industry and 1-2 years’ experience in supervision.

Level 2: More than 10 years of experience in the industry and 5 years’ experience in supervision.

Plan, organize and distribute the workload to team members.

Communicate, in a timely manner, the relevant information and issues to the immediate supervisor.
