Knowledge base consistent with emergency response management principles, Primary skills include effective communication, assessment, follow-through, decision making and independent judgement.

Minimum of 2 + years' work experience in highway maintenance operations, freeway traffic control and incidents/accidents management.

Serve as a primary liaison between provincial and local police, fire and various emergency responders during incident management

Comply with Ferrovial Service's Risk Management, Quality Assurance and Health, Safety and Environment management systems, including statutory obligations

Avoids legal challenges by complying with federal, provincial and local legal requirements.

Ability to manage workload independently, prioritize demands and problem solve effectively.

Strong communication skills, written and verbal

General administration and data entry tasks

Any duties and responsibilities as set out by site SOPs

Become a certified Traffic Control Flagger. Paid training and ATSSA certification.

Load and unload work zone equipment to and from the company vehicle.

Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites in a safe manner.

Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.

Wear and maintain proper PPE in accordance with Wright specific policy.

Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.

Ability to stand for long periods of times and remain attentive to traffic conditions and other factors affecting safety and production.

Able to communicate effectively and work in stressful situations. .

Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.

Utilize radio or other forms of communication to relay traffic signals to work crew and other regulators.
