Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR or Talent Management, with a focus on talent acquisition and employee engagement

Develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, employee retention, and performance management

Proficiency in HRIS and talent management software

Oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and foster professional growth

Proven experience in building and maintaining a positive company culture

Master's degree with HR certification is preferred

Salary: $160,062.00 -$200,026.00, TM2132 and wage grade 10.

Shift Information: Mon - Fri, 35 hours per week per week

Experience with recruitment, mentoring and general law firm management.

Strong project management and time management skills with an ability to prioritize, plan and implement numerous projects, programs, and special events.

Demonstrated experience, knowledge of and commitment to implementing and advancing EDI best practices.

Experience and ability to prepare and manage a multi-year plan, set of priorities and budget.

Law degree with a minimum of 8 years of combined practice and professional development experience, with litigation experience an asset.

Relationship building and leadership skills with an ability to motivate others and work collaboratively.

Excellent time management and organizational skills in managing through multiple priorities with overlapping tasks across multiple locations.

Other ad hoc tasks as assigned by Management.

University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related degree, or a combination of education/experience. CHRL designation preferred.

Experience using an HRIS system and applicant tracking system. Knowledge of Workforce Now would be considered an asset

Provide training and support to Hiring Managers regarding appropriate recruitment processes ensuring legal compliance to applicable legislation i.e. OHRC, OHSA

Strong commitment to customer service with experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

Leading onboarding presentations for employees, explaining values, policies, benefits, insurance, etc.

Help to manage and dispatch requests and questions in the HR inbox

Acting as a resource for employees needing guidance on their group benefits plan

College diploma in HR administration or a university diploma in HR combined with 6 months to a 1 year of experience

Experience with an HRIS (we use UKG formerly Ultipro)

Experience in an HR service center or an early stage tech company is considered a plus
