Gas Systems Fabrication Technologist Hydrogen Stations Jobs

6 years of Trades supervisory experience or management experience is considered necessary.

Assist in developing training for all staff to reach and maintain competent skill levels.

Possesses effective verbal and written communications skills.

Monitor work progress through review of assignments to subordinates and conduct spot check of jobs. Authorize corrective action where necessary.

Ensure that all required training is identified, implemented, monitored and recorded.

Ensure that the supervisor and other functional staff are aware of any special circumstances in the work areas.

Ability to lead workshops with various stakeholders and perform benefits mapping

Provides senior leadership and direction for diverse multi-disciplinary teams, consisting of internal staff, external consultants, contractors, etc.

Oversees the development of business cases to evaluate project and program alternatives and secure support for new programs/projects

Strong understanding of the principles behind business process re-engineering, managing change, and what is required to make projects successful

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:

Good working knowledge of fittings (tubing, plumbing, valves) used in the storage of hydrogen and other high-pressure gases.

Fabrication skills (welding, machining) to manufacture custom-designed components.

Working knowledge of assembly techniques and tools used in the assembly of hydrogen fill stations.

Good knowledge of pressure testing standards and procedures.

Working knowledge of related safety and WHMIS regulations.
