Supported Child Care Worker Jobs in Manitoba

Set and work toward personal skill development goals.

Participate in regular feedback sessions with other After-School program workers, and supervisory session with the Manager.

Completed or enrolled in post-secondary education program.

First Aid Certification (First Aid/CPR-C).

1 + year of experience planning and implementing activities for school aged children.

Knowledge of child development and learning needs of children aged 6-12.

Assist with planning and delivering after school activities which facilitate educational and life skills development.

Post-secondary education in child and youth work, social services, education, or child development preferred.

1+ year of experience working with children within the targeted age group.

Knowledge of child development and learning needs of children 4 – 12 years.

Ability to work with children and parents who have experienced violence or homelessness, and some understanding of this population’s unique issues.

Experience working with children with emotional or social challenges.
