Summer Transportation Clerk Jobs

An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

This customer service-oriented individual will have demonstrated initiative, teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills and abilities

At least two years' experience and training in an office environment.

Considerable knowledge of business English, spelling, arithmetic, current office practices, and procedures.

Successful Applicants Must Provide Proof Of Qualifications.

Answer the telephone, email and service request software and refer persons seeking information or assistance to appropriate divisional staff

Manage required training documents for various internal and external audit requirements.

Address the questions and concerns of Drivers and Sales Representatives; work closely with Transportation Manager and Supervisors to provide resolution.

Work closely with Transportation Manager or Supervisor to review situations that have a potential impact on department cost or service levels.

Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

Minimum one (1) year of clerical and administrative experience

Previous experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
