Supervise and encourage participation in our mini-game, ensuring that it runs smoothly and that winners receive their prizes.

Exchange name cards and establish connections on behalf of our company (optional, but highly encouraged).

As a booth representative, you will:

Work on *unique projects* (which you may not have had an opportunity to see/experience before).

*Be challenged* - join the team to create custom solutions for material handling problems (this includes out-of-the-box thinking).

Payroll is processed *weekly *by direct deposit (not bi-weekly).

Vacation is paid weekly (not retained).

Use of production manufacturing equipment (belt sander, saw, grinder, press)

Assembly of conveyor components (includes rollers)

Ability to plan and prioritize, good stress management;

Telemedicine services and many other creative benefits

Training, coaching and skills development

Have a College Diploma (DEC) or High School Diploma combined with work experience relevant to the role;

Experience in the manufacturing or printing industry (asset);

Remote work is not possible in this role;

Demonstrated leadership and strong academic skills

Previous industry experience is considered beneficial, but not essential

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required for all roles

Studying to achieve a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mining, Civil, Petroleum, Geotechnical, or Geological engineering

Available for an 8-, 12- or 16-month work term beginning in September 2023

Currently enrolled in a University Engineering program and returning to full-time studies after the work term

Industrial experience and post-secondary education would be considered an asset

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong communication and time management skills  

Strong mathematical skills and basic computer system knowledge  

Experience as a Retail Cashier is an asset  

Process customer transactions through cash registers  

Operate scanners and credit card/debit card terminals   

Collect payments and bag purchases for customers   

Good listening and communication skills are my gifts

Abilities to perform, entertain and sing loudly for all to hear are talents (not required)

Ability to often lift and/or manage holding 10-25 lbs.

A well-groomed, natural beard, welcoming smile and bright eyes characterize me

Effective English communication skills, both written and oral

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Applicants must be grade 12 graduates
