WHAT CPKC HAS TO OFFER:

Provide technical expertise in the area of signal design during the commissioning of projects;

Operate S&C CAD system to produce, review, and modify signal system designs;

Ø Power distribution design knowledge for rail deployment is an asset.

Ø Well developed writing skills to prepare effective reports, documents, etc. in a clear and concise format.

Ø 15+ years related work experience in the rail industry specifically in hardware signaling design

Ø Good interpersonal and technical writing skills

Previous professional experience working on complex data processing for the following bio-signals:

Experience of coding in Python, MATLAB

Knowledge of human or animal physiology, medical applications, and/or bioinstrumentation

Experience in developing procedures for human or animal biosignal recording in clinical environments

Experience in coding in C/C++ and/or Java

Experience in firmware and/or software development

Must have over five (5) years of experience in a computerized traffic signal control or similar environment;

Certification as an Engineering Technician or Technologist by O.A.C.E.T.T., or willing to work towards certification, will be considered an asset;

Must have proven oral and written communication skills;

Experience in SAR remote sensing, including system design, operation, applications/exploitation and/or calibration;

Experience in different types of engineering life cycles as applicable from large complex programs to software development;

Possess excellent problem solving skills;

Hand on experience working on type certification of an aircraft from concept to issuance of type certificate

Engagement with foreign regulatory agencies to ensure alignment with FAA Type Certification

Coordinate and develop Certification Plans

Strong understanding of Systems and Equipment (Subpart F) qualification methods and means of compliance.

Working knowledge of ARP4754 and ARP4761

Working knowledge of RCTA DO-160, DO-178 and DO-254

Provide sound technical guidance to upper management and lead technical solutioning for new business pursuits.

Undergraduate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Math, Physics, or a combination of related education and experience;

Ability to learn new technologies and space borne remote sensing domain knowledge quickly; and

12 or more years of overall experience working in an engineering or technical environment;

Experience in different types of engineering life cycles as applicable from large complex programs to software development;

Ability and knowledge to work with MATLAB, Python or C++;
