Spatial Database Administrator Jobs

Update and manage the global CMF documentation and cataloguing across all Air Canada properties, in both physical and digital formats

Makes recommendations or decisions on architecture, interior design, standards and process improvements in line with client needs and requirements

Strong knowledge of the design process

Strong presentation building skills, building narratives and storytelling

Knowledge of materials, construction techniques and building codes

Work directly with Brand, Product, and CRE teams and external agency partners (Architects and Industrial/Interior Designers)

Minimum one-year experience managing spatial data and automating processes in PostgreSQL or similar relational database management system.

Experience contributing to project management activities, including work planning.

Interacts with employees, various management levels and the public at large.

Transparency between various levels of management

Minimum one-year experience managing and analyzing large-scale geospatial datasets in a Geographic Information System (GIS) environment.

Experience producing high-quality geospatial data visualizations, including maps and dashboards.

Minimum one-year work experience managing spatial data and automating processes in PostgreSQL or similar relational database management system.

Experience contributing to project management activities, including work planning, contract management, and budget management.

Coordinate with contractors to support development of connectivity modelling frameworks, database management, API infrastructure, and tool development.

Develop training modules to document data processing and management processes and deliver to new staff.

Strong English written and oral communication skills, including experience writing technical reports, including expertise in freshwater ecology and geospatial methods.

Interacts with employees, various management levels and the public at large.
