Software Systems Engineering Analyst Jobs

A minimum of 5 years experience as a software analyst or related function.

Hands-on experience with technical projects is a must.

Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting recommended.

Manage scope of the work package ensuring requirements are clear and bounded and desired results are documented.

Participate in the management of Risks of Opportunities throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Issue the engineering status reports to Project Management.

Providing day-to-day technical direction to dedicated employees on your project, and supports performance management activities throughout the year.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent education with relevant experience.

Technical/Specialized knowledge: experience with electronic systems.

Management/optimization of skills and standardization of practices for own discipline:

Administrative management, i.e. leave / vacation, schedules / timesheets;

Disciplinary management (respect of policies, ethics).

Development and monitoring of training requirements, succession plans and coaching;

Minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace avionics and electrical;

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in personnel supervision or as team leader;

Knowledge of virtualization technologies, VMware, ESXI or other hypervisor system configuration and management

Knowledge of software development environment

Development experience in Python, C++, C#

Experience with Linux, PowerShell and Bash scripting

Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, methods and tools

Experience with Amazon Web Services and other cloud providers

5+ years’ experience working in software development

Recommend technical solutions and provide guidance on software solutions

Developing software applications, system development projects

Proficient working with C# and Azure

Web services, Azure DevOps, Database Design, Deployments

Strong Business Analysis and Project Management skills

Prior experience in release management

Understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM)

Develop detailed requirements (business, user, process, system requirements – functional and non-functional) and establish traceability to the business vision

Lead and execute full development lifecycle activities - design, develop, and test enhancements in alignment with internal business process requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience

10+ years of application development management.

Strong technology and architectural skills with exceptional knowledge of modern/current technology trends.

In-depth knowledge and experience with modern full-stack software development technologies, relational databases, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.

Knowledge and experience with Pension Plan Administration Systems is a definite asset.

Experience on working within compliance (e.g.: quality, regulatory - data privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity requirements is a plus

Provide support to development managers that are responsible for engaging business stakeholders, translating business requirements into systems requirements and technical specifications
