A SOC Analyst is a security professional who is responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats and incidents. They are also responsible for maintaining security systems, performing vulnerability assessments, and providing security guidance to other departments.What is Soc Analyst Job Skills Required?
• Knowledge of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
• Knowledge of network protocols and operating systems
• Understanding of security best practices and industry standards
• Ability to analyze and interpret security logs
• Ability to troubleshoot security issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What is Soc Analyst Job Qualifications?
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
• Experience in a security operations center or similar environment
What is Soc Analyst Job Knowledge?
• Knowledge of security threats and vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of security tools and technologies
• Knowledge of security policies and procedures
• Knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO, and PCI
What is Soc Analyst Job Experience?
• At least 2 years of experience in a security operations center or similar environment
• Experience with security incident response and investigation
• Experience with security monitoring and analysis
What is Soc Analyst Job Responsibilities?
• Monitor security systems for suspicious activity and investigate potential security incidents
• Analyze security logs and identify potential threats
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate with other departments to mitigate risks
• Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
• Provide security guidance and training to other departments
