Skid Steer Operators Jobs

This is a general responsibilities list and does not include all responsibilities required of the position.

Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience as an Excavator/Dozer operator.

Experience with finishing work (sloping, leveling) required.

CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Clean Shaven for Mask Fit Test

Drug and alcohol testing (urine-based test)

Knowledge of how to run a Skid Steer efficiently and safely

RRSP matching up to 4% of regular earnings

Operates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors.

Prepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation.

Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches used in structural concrete.

2+ years of experience operating skid steers in a construction environment.

Previous experience on an Excavator would be an asset.

Experience with other heavy equipment considered an asset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Operate skid steers in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining proper care and maintenance of the machine.

Load, unload and move materials, load trucks, excavation, and finished grading.
