Strong client relationship management skills

Excellent Risk Assessment and Risk Management ability

Manages and motivates the team to ensure positive employee relations and to promote individual objectives.

A sound knowledge of and appreciation for HS&E and QA best practices

Certificate in Nutrition & Food Service Management from an accredited program, such as the Canadian Healthcare Association, or equivalent

Other combination of education and experience may be considered

Demonstrated competency to do cash management

Grade XII education or equivalent

Knowledge and understanding of therapeutic and modified texture diets

Knowledge of computerized scheduling/payroll program

Follow established policies and procedures to ensure the facility is maintained to a high standard and meets all regulatory requirements.

3 to 4 years of experience

Proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with analytical tools such as PowerBI is a plus.

Outcome focused and able to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication skills and be able to communicate well with people at all levels.

You are a team player with excellent communication, critical thinking and prioritization skills

Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is preferred

Excellent knowledge of CSA and PIDAC standards as they relate to Environmental Services in Healthcare

Excellent knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations

Excellent knowledge of WHMIS and healthcare regulations

Previous scheduling experience in a unionized environment

5-7 years of experience in a supervisory/management role

A minimum of 10 years experience in remote site operations

Contribute to the LOMs plans by contributing to the 5-year plan as it relates to cost reduction and sustaining capital requirements.

Develop safe work procedures and provide technical/operational input into maintenance and operations procedures and systems.

As directed by the Site Service Superintendent, assist in the recruitment and personnel training for the site services department.
