Minimum Requirements Of The Job Include

Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $29.66/hour;

Knowledge and experience working with adaptive technology

Knowledgeable about disabilities and all life stages (children to seniors).

Assesses the ADLs and abilities of individuals.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 computer skills (Outlook, Word)

1-year PSW experience gained in the physical disabilities sector

Manages time in co-operation with clients to complete tasks

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution and judgment skills

Assist with the management of the program's budget.

Recruit, train, engage and actively manage a team of volunteer Tech Mates and SmartLife Assistant Coaches.

Operates a point-of-sale system to process, track shop sales and manage inventory.

Conduct data entry to track client participation, while also registering clients and updating their contact and demographic information.

Knowledgeable about accessible and adaptive technology and products designed for people with sight loss.

Excellent analytical, problem definition and problem-solving skills.
