Perform basic mechanical and electrical integration for automation project

Fabrication and machining of components

Perform wiring of electrical cabinets from schematic as needed

Troubleshoot and debug existing production equipment.

Troubleshoot robots, Automation equipment, Vision systems . etc.

Report any accidents, incidents or hazardous situations immediately.

Minimum of 2-5 years' experience working as a Maintenance Electrician in Manufacturing Industry.

Must be a Licensed Electrician (442A) and (309A) have knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code.

Must have working knowledge of Allen Bradley / Siemens PLC

Displays intensive knowledge of plant equipment in order to effectively respond to equipment breakdown and repairs.

Pay: $40 - 45/hr. + Benefits.

Performs extensive troubleshooting of packaging and processing equipment. Detects errors and problems that limit performance of equipment.

Knowledge and experience with PLC controls and programming systems. Allen Bradley an asset;

Extensive experience with electromechanical preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed automated packaging equipment;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communication on a constant basis with plant personnel;

Experience in a food processing facility would be considered an asset;

High level of self-motivation and initiative with excellent trouble shooting skills;

Instrument knowledge with pressure, temperature, flow controls, calibrations and programing;

A minimum of 2 years experience working in an Industrial setting

Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills

Previous experience working in a Mill is considered an asset*

Wage of $39.36/hour ($100000 + per year)
