Shipper Evening Jobs in Alberta

Manage all night & overnight operation of the warehouse.

5 years' of warehouse experience

Minimum of 3 years of Managing experience

Experience in working evening shift is a plus

Overseeing returns, receiving, put away, transfers, restock, freight, parcels and conversion.

Inspect warehouse and keep the warehouse clean and safe

Meet and greet guests as they arrive and offer choice of seating in the dining area.

Assist guests with their food and beverage needs while in the dining area.

Maintain proper set-up of dining area.

Preparation of food according to Crescent/IHG standards and ensuring proper temperatures of hot and cold items according to health code regulations.

Replenish food and service supplies and utensils in the dining area.

Clean and sanitize all equipment in the kitchen & dining areas.

3-4 years cooking experience in the cooking trade

Demonstrated knowledge of foodservice and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, preparation, and presentation required.

Excellent verbal and oral communication skills, including the ability to give directions, converse with customers.

Highly flexible, with solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to the restaurant industry.

Acquire and maintain a strong knowledge of trends in the food industry.

Basic computer skills for data entry, inventory management, and shipment tracking.

Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.

Connections and experience with some of the top companies (employers) in your area

Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and packaging to comply with company and regulatory requirements.

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant industry certification is a plus.

Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in the metal manufacturing industry.
