Sexual Violence Education And Prevention Coordinator Jobs

Extensive experience with mental health illness, behavioral issues, anger management and conflict resolution;

Relationship management and organizational skills;

Knowledge of the criminal justice system and police policy and procedures.

Skills in working with university-aged young adults and individuals in crisis an asset;

Experience in training and/or running groups.

Demonstrated understanding of the impact of sexual violence on intersectional identities when providing trauma-informed care and support;

Support proposal management in a co-development environment

Manage resources, processes, and procedures to ensure effective management of workplans and on time delivery.

Post-Secondary degree in a related field such as sociology, women’s studies, political science, or acceptable combination of education and experience

Experience managing a team – a leader and team builder

Manager, Violence and Abuse Prevention and Justice (VAP&J) Policy Team

Location: Eligible for Hybrid or Remote Work Arrangements

Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.

Knowledge of investigative methods, techniques and practices

Knowledge of interviewing and negotiation processes and procedures

Strong skills in the areas of conflict resolution, problem-solving, and interviewing

Excellent critical thinking skills and judgment with demonstrated ability to analyze and apply legal and policy standards to fact patterns

Possess excellent consultative, collaboration and interpersonal skills, and the ability to bring conflicting points of view to consensus
