A passion for life skills

Experience working directly with kids as a camp counselor, tutor, teacher aide, or in a similar role

Experience designing workshops, programs, trainings, or curricula in a professional setting

Researching, brainstorming, and developing simulations and projects that mimic real-world situations and challenges.

Developing workshop plans, ensuring each script includes clear instructions that make it easy for any facilitator to deliver

Experience with delinquency management, soft collections or credit counseling is an asset.

Exceptional communication skill set, both written and verbal.

Degree or Diploma in Finance or Business

Extensive Experience working with MS Suite (Excel, Teams, Word)

Must have been residing in Canada for the past 5 years

***5 days a week onsite in Mississauga office 3 month contract + extension***

Excellent time-management, communication and organizational skills

Previous experience in a similar role would be asset

·Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with the internet and email communications

Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients

Regular follow up as appropriate with clients and families

Act as client & family advocate by discussing available services

Relevant education and related work experience. Knowledge and understanding of community service sector and community health centres

Demonstrated experience working with marginalized individuals and communities, particularly newcomer / immigrant communities and racialized groups

Solid experience with presentations, group assessment and group facilitation

Demonstrated experience in providing a range of mental wellness supports and services for marginalized newcomers

Working knowledge of a wide variety of community resources

Demonstrated experience in developing and conducting outreach activities
