Manage financial activities such as general accounting and cash flow.

Responding effectively and efficiently to client, manager and partner requests

Strong organization and time management skills

Manage Payroll and T4’s for all employees of Glen Group of Companies

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable included but not limited to depositing cheques and preparing invoices

Use QuickBooks or such other computer software to manage reports and track financial data

Create and manage a systematic filing system

Performing basic office tasks like filing, data entry, and mail processing.

Understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles

Set-up files for new clients and newly incorporated businesses; manage multiple files simultaneously and conduct inventory counts

2 to 4 years of relevant public accounting experience

Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Experience working with accounting and tax software

Conduct compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping and tax engagements

Qualifications, Skills & Personal Attributes

Lead audit team and manage engagements;

Minimum of two years of experience working in an Audit and/or Assurance environment in a public practice firm;

Strong technical skills including IFRS and Canadian auditing standards;

Experience working with publicly listed companies, in particular mining, oil and gas, technology is ideal;

Detail oriented individual with superior organizational and analytical skills;

Participates in the firm's Team Development and Performance Management Program

Is able to produce concise and complete reports for review by the engagement manager

Applies technical knowledge and research in formulating client and firm related recommendations

Working with the engagement manager, anticipates engagement issues and risks, assesses alternatives and takes appropriate action

Manages one or more routine client engagements or assists in managing one or more complex client engagements

Required Experience, Qualifications and Characteristics:

Acting as the day-to-day client relationship manager.

Experience with private companies audit (ASPE and ASNPO)

4+ years of public practice experience, with a focus on audit engagements, which includes planning, executing, and completing financial audits

Knowledge of inventory management systems, in particular SAP applications, i.e. the Biological Inventory Management System (BIMS) and Panorama is an asset

Ability to work flexible hours to ensure vaccine courier deliveries are coordinated and managed to meet service requirements

Current CPR certification is required

Knowledge of pharmaceutical practices to ensure quality of the product throughout inventory supply chain, i.e. cold chain

Excellent assessment skills and attention to detail is required to review cold chain breaches and implement required follow up actions.

Knowledge of Pharmacy Information Systems, other patient information systems, as well as various software programs

Address Client issues in a timely manner, following policies and using your strong technical skills and accounting experience

Looking for Managers with 1 -2 supervisory, leadership experience

Excellent organizational skills in order to manage multiple deadlines and competing tasks

Ideally – 2 years’ post-designation experience
