Senior Finance Data Analyst Jobs in Ontario

Support and evolve the Advanced Analytics and Data Management capabilities towards empowering citizen data scientists in the business

Experience with modeling and analysis including machine learning, statistical analysis, operations research, management science and data mining

3+ years of professional experience in analytics environment with proven value creation outcomes

3-5 years of professional experience with SQL, Python, PySpark

Experience with framework such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, MxNet and the sci-kit learn library is a plus

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: C#, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Templates

The responsibilities include the following;

Preparing P & L analysis on a monthly, quarterly, annually and on budget basis

Analysis of cogs, pricing and customer profitability

•Experience with Data mapping/Data lineage/Data Warehousing projects

•Experience in working on Big Data platform (Hive/Hadoop) is a huge plus

•Knowledge of various financial industry regulatory landscape

•Excellent documentation, analytical and process-based skills to produce process flow diagrams, business analysis, and functional design.

Strong understanding of business process analytics and/or business process management, including common methods for deriving business value from data

Understand and prioritize business requirements while managing the expectations of stakeholders

Understanding and experience with application of modern UI/UX interfaces within data visualization solutions

This position must pass a post-offer background check

Demonstrated capabilities for analyzing business needs and finding solutions

Demonstrated knowledge and real-world application of modern Business Intelligence tools

3-5 years of experience in managing data. Clinical/Healthcare experience is preferred.

University degree or post-secondary education – business, commerce, accounting, or finance related.

Validation of CE approval and project creation for assigned Division and Region

Support IT and Loss Prevention depts. With project creation for store rollout projects.

Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science/Engineering/Math/Stats/Finance or similar) preferred

3-5 years of experience using Base SAS/EG, SAS Macro, SQL, SSIS & MS SQL Server

2-3 years of experience with data wrangling with Python specifically String-matching algorithms such as Fuzzy matching, hash functions and regular expressions.

Prior experience in the planning and execution of large-scale critical data transformation and enterprise data hub initiatives.

Strong data modeling fundamentals including experience with dimensional modeling, normalization, referential integrity, star, and snowflake schemas, etc.

Experience building and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models for reporting and analytics use cases.
