Senior Feeder Piping Analysis Engineer Jobs

You will establish and/or maintain effective simulation planning and documentation management within projects

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant education

5+ years of industry experience in design and/or analysis of composites

Experience with composite materials, composite mechanics, and failure modes

Experience with Siemens, NX, NX Nastran is considered an asset

Experience with composites manufacturing is considered an asset

Report to engineering or project management with timely updates on project performance for the assigned scopes or tasks.

Perform engineering work following SNC-Lavalin/Candu Energy Quality Assurance programs, and applicable codes, standards, and regulation requirements.

General knowledge of CANDU nuclear mechanical and piping systems or equipment.

Experience in stress analysis of pressure boundary components, for deadweight, thermal, and seismic conditions is required.

Design engineering experience in nuclear piping systems is preferable.

Experience in FEA using ANSYS Mechanical APDL is required. Experience in ANSYS Workbench is an asset.
