They also provide technical support to other departments and organizations in the areas of environmental management, sustainability, and environmental compliance. Detailed Job Description A Senior Environmental Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing environmental policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They are also responsible for providing technical guidance and support to other departments and organizations in the areas of environmental management, sustainability, and environmental compliance. They are expected to stay current on all relevant environmental regulations and laws, and to provide advice and guidance on how to comply with them. They are also responsible for conducting environmental assessments, monitoring environmental performance, and developing and implementing corrective action plans. Job Skills Required
