Senior Engineering Lead Jobs in Nova Scotia

Leadership capabilities, communication, issue resolution, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Review and verify design calculations, technical specifications, and engineering drawings in accordance with applicable requirements, codes, and standards.

Specify technical and design requirements, as well as requirements for commissioning, installation, etc.

4+ years of experience in a design engineering role is considered an asset.

Working knowledge of nuclear plant equipment and systems, design basis, and nuclear safety principles is considered an asset.

Working knowledge of the nuclear engineering change/modification process considered an asset.

• Solid knowledge in hydraulics and mechanical engineering

• Knowledge of API, HI, ASME and ASTM standards

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work well with others

• Knowledge of ANSYS Fluent is an asset

• Experience in programming with Visual Basics or C++ is an asset
