Senior Engineer – Control Systems And Automation Jobs

Minimum five years of experience developing and testing control systems;

In-depth knowledge of PLCs and SCADA programming and configuration, including familiarity with several IEC61131 languages;

Excellent oral and written communication skills;

Experience in the nuclear industry;

Work as part of a technical project team to deliver technical documentation, hardware, and software to customers;

Support proposal preparations as required.

PLC’s, HMI, SCADA or other Controls systems experience.

• 1-3 years of experience

• AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred

• Material Handling experience is a plus

• Experience with MS Office products.

• AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred.

Complete projects by taking ownership of deliverables and using technical and project management skills

Some Project Management/Managing Contractors experience desired

Skills and abilities to provide technical and administrative guidance for activities in defined scope of responsibilities

Strong leadership, relationship management, and organizational planning and project management skills

Provide electrical assistance including troubleshooting, project engineering and project management

Knowledge of ESA and CSA standards as they pertain to electrical safety and safeguarding of machinery compliance

Owns management and oversite of Technology Investigation Projects (TIP), processes, and facilitates consistent execution and stakeholder management

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of product development management

Delivers and supports the deployment of scalable, enabling, and re-usable engineering content to the development team and associated knowledge capture.

Demonstrates strong Leadership by influence capabilities and commitment to developing strong relationships and collaborative partnerships internally and externally.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience

Typical requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering leadership.
