Senior Downstream Advisor Jobs

Preparing project justifications for presentation to Corporate Management.

Preparing and delivering presentations to Corporate Management on issues related to refining and chemical facilities.

Reviewing operations of downstream facilities, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending measures to mitigate them.

Identifying and presenting value-driven opportunities to improve profitability at both individual asset and regional levels.

Evaluating growth project proposals and joint venture offtake arrangements.

Assisting in the development of technical evaluations and economic justifications for Capital Programs.

Experience presenting to Corporate and Executive Management, the Board of Directors, and wider audiences.

Advise and guide the development of Downstream strategic goals and plans to the CEO and members of Corporate and Executive Management.

Experience in at least two of the following Downstream areas: Chemicals (preferred), refining, retail and fuels, and trading.

Global or multinational business experience with developed multicultural sensitivity.

Must have experience developing and delivering strategic insights, investment and market analysis, and business strategies for a major integrated downstream business.

Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver business strategies and plans is desirable.

Stress/Time Management and Conflict Resolution.

Perform troubleshooting and assessment of processes and technical problems.

Clean-in-place (CIP), cleaning-out-of-place (COP) of downstream equipment and vessels.

Execute and verify IQ/OQ/PQ validation and cleaning verification protocols.

Sample processed materials and perform in-process testing according to procedures.

Deliver samples to other departments on site as required.

Thorough understanding and hands-on experience of developing downstream processes for use in a cGMP manufacturing environment

Experience in technology transfer to manufacturing facilities, including CDMOs

Experience in leading and managing cross-functional projects is required

Create the development plans for clinical protein production and be accountable for resulting project deliverables

Provide oversight and guidance on downstream processes and their technology transfer to CDMOs

Author and review process descriptions, technical reports, technology transfer documentation, SOPs, batch records, regulatory filings and other documentation as needed

End 2 End Supply Chain / Integrated Business Planning Processes knowledge/experience preferred / APICS CPIM/CSCP certifications preferred

University/College Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields

Manage Budget and ensure proper forecasting process.

Working knowledge of SAP, Advanced knowledge of data processing techniques and systems (SQL, Power BI tools etc.) is required

Strong collaborative communication and teamwork skills

Downstream inventory planning for Project based activities, including phase out strategy deployment, inventory re-balancing, action plan development and others.

Author high-quality regulatory submissions and technical reports; independently prepare and present data/findings at department, project team, and senior management meetings.

Experience in performing process characterization (PC) studies, process performance qualification (PPQ), and other late-stage development activities.

Lead and manage CDMOs in the areas of biologics and conjugation manufacturing.

Manage tech transfer and process development activities to enable regulatory filing.

Develop plan and lead process development and manufacturing of antibody and antibody-conjugates and associated CMC requirements.

Experience working effectively with contract manufacturers (CDMOs).

Experience presenting to Corporate and Executive Management, the Board of Directors, and wider audiences.
