Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist Jobs

Minimum of 3 years’ of Continuous Improvement experience

5-10 years of experience in mining, petroleum, manufacturing or any heavy industry

Proven ability to organize and manage projects with positive results.

Drive continuous improvement by conducting a thorough analysis of data and environment.

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Operations Research, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics required or equivalent combination of education & work experience.

Task prioritization & time management skill

Act as the primary force and executor for change management linked with CI initiatives

Monitor all projects and provide information and direction to the senior management team

Knowledge of basic engineering finances & accounting principles

Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously

5 years experience in manufacturing/ tooling; 3 years program management experience; P.Eng designation is preferred

Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.

Post Secondary Education (Community College or Undergrad Degree) in the one of the following:

Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail

Extensive knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, UG)

Strong communicator in the English language, both written and oral

Program management and deployment of Continuous Improvement for DSV Solutions Canada

Work as the main driver and implementer of the change management associated with CI projects

Track all initiatives/projects & provide communication and guidance to senior management team

Educate team in LEAN expanding knowledge base to support & develop a sustainable CI culture

Maintain SME in proven industry methods & tools (Six Sigma, DMAIC, value-stream mapping, and 5S

Continuously evaluate & analyze data, processes & material flow related to existing operations in order to identify improvement opportunities

Minimum 2 years of project management experience

B. Sc. in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering/Technology and/or Quality Assurance/Management

Management of customer complaints, including liaising with the department responsible for the defect, BERICAP Customer Service Leads and the customer

What Skills and Experience You Will Bring:

Black Belt certification in LEAN/DMAIC methodologies from an accredited provider an asset

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast paced, manufacturing environment with a plastics background preferred

Knowledge and experience with PowerApps, project management, agile methodologies

1-3 years experience in Retail, Supply Chain, and Remote Operations

1-3 years experience in Analytics

Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and/or SSRS experience

Intermediate experience with VBA and SQL

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering

Plans, organizes, facilitates and monitors workshops – Process management and VSM (Value Steam mapping of service or manufacturing).

Application of project management concepts: Planning, risk management, budget management, project performance indicator.

Ability to work at different organizational levels and support management teams.

Experiences in the deployment of an operational excellence model with different realities and levels of maturity.

University degree (technical or business) or equivalent experience in continuous improvement in a similar role.

Relevant experience in workshop facilitation Experience in "Six Sigma" and "Lean" projects.
