Senior Azure Security Operations Specialist Jobs

Assist with management and administration of cybersecurity devices.

Consult with the Incident Management team to respond to cybersecurity events and incidents.

Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy and regulatory requirements and emerging cybersecurity trends and issues.

Assess current IT environment for vulnerabilities, weaknesses and for upgrades or improvement.

Remain current in cyber security training through education courses and seminars.

6-8 years of experience with enterprise-scale, cybersecurity/IT programs.

· Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

· Strong knowledge/experience with data visualization tools (Tableau)

· Evaluates circumstances requiring exceptions and engages senior management for resolution.

· Knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business – In-depth.

· Strong knowledge/experience with writing queries on Global Plus/macros/SQL

· Strong knowledge/experience with report writing tools (SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI)

Meet all PCI and Audit requirements concerning Vulnerability Management.

Work experience in Vulnerability Management and Penetration Testing planning.

Knowledge of Risk-Based Vulnerability Management (RBVM) software and methodologies.

Experience in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for vulnerability management.

Experience with multiple cloud providers (Azure, Google, Amazon) and knowledge of how to identify and improve vulnerabilities on these platforms.

Manage access control and identity management to ensure that only authorized personnel and services have access to our cloud resources

Monitor, identify, and address security vulnerabilities and threats to the cloud infrastructure

Collaborate with the team to implement and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements

Some experience working within the Azure security environment (university labs, co-op, etc.)

Exposure and some knowledge of Azure Security, extended Microsoft Suite (Dynamics, 365, etc.)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Notify designated product managers of new or suspected critical or high risk vulnerabilities in enterprise systems

Manage and configure web application firewalls working with product development teams to define protection rules to mitigate identified vulnerabilities

Configure and manage Advanced Threat Protection modules within the TELUS Health Unified Threat Management security devices

Define and implement tools and processes to drive enhanced threat management, vulnerability management, threat prevention, security monitoring and incident response

Review the security requirements traceability matrix (SRTM) and evidences

Develop/update/maintain the Security Requirements Traceability Matrix (SRTM) and the Security Assessment Report.

10 years’ relevant experience in Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A) and TRA work

5+ years’ direct experience performing SA&A work for Azure and working in cloud environments

5+ years’ direct experience in the assessment of evidence and writing of formal Security Assessment reports (ITSG-33 based).
