Senior Alarm Technician Jobs

Experience and knowledge in electrical principals and theory

Previous work experience in a panel shop and familiarity with AltaLink fabrication is highly preferred

3-5 years of experience as a Wiring Technician (typical)

Experience in fabrication of a variety of modules, junction boxes, cabinets and control panels

Plans, implements and leads projects to enhance the player experience;

3 to 5 years of previous technical (hardware) experience or related background preferred;

Previous customer service experience is preferred

Ability to comprehend and apply internal control concepts, verifications and procedural review requirements;

Assists in monitoring project execution per plan. Reports problems or changes to supervisor or management.

1-2 years experience in installing fire or security systems for large Commercial or National based customers.

Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts.

Minimum 2 year of experience working with alarm systems for large Commercial or National based customers.

Electronics certification from an accredited technical school desired.

Experience working with DMP, Honeywell, BOSCH, and DSC alarm panels

Knowledge/Experience using Doble M4100 to perform transformer diagnostic tests

Knowledge/Experience Testing Low Voltage Trip Unit

Knowledge/Experience of Testing Current and Potential Transformers

Knowledge/Experience of performing HV/MV Circuit Breaker Timing Tests

Co-ordinate sales efforts with Branch Manager, such as but not limited to, repeat business, quotations and customer contact.

10 or more years experience with high voltage testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and commissioning
