Security Operation Engineer Jobs

Strong chemicals and steam cracker operational experience.

Strong experience in capital project development for chemicals plants, particularly in Pre-FEED/FEED stages.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business and their integration.

Previous experience in Project Engineering, Design, and Execution for chemicals plants.

Background in refinery and chemicals integration.

Demonstrated understanding of process yields, qualities, economics, and capital efficiency.

Experience with technologies to include Palo Alto, F5, Microsoft security solutions, and Cisco (certifications in most/all of these is highly desirable)

Requirements analysis and solution design considering best practices and industry standard guidelines

At least 5 years experience in IT security operations / implementation using a variety of security technologies

Very good knowledge of network and network security fundamentals

Extensive hands-on experience installing and operating firewalls and related technologies

Experience in any of the following technologies is also advantageous: Tenable, Proofpoint, Splunk Okta, and Infoblox

Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with engineering teams

3-7 years of experience working in security or related industry

Experience in monitoring and improving Infrastructure security tools and processes

2+ years of experience in secure coding/development

Have a deep understanding of common application security vulnerabilities

Experience working in all parts of application lifecycle

Experience in people management and the ability to lead and influence others.

Master’s degree (or higher) in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or similar field.

Machine Learning and data analytics experience and skills.

Five years’ experience in optimization solutions.

Working knowledge of C++ (11+, STL), object-oriented programming/design principles and patterns, SOLID, design patterns (Gang of Four)

Experience of enterprise software development and maintenance

Minimum of 20+ years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business with a focus on integration

Previous experience in Project Engineering, Design, and Execution for chemicals plants

Steam cracker and C4+ co-products process licensor selection & technology analysis experience

Knowledge of economics & capital efficiency in the industry

Experience in developing chemicals facility scope basis

Refinery or chemicals capital project development experience, particularly in Pre-FEED/FEED stages

•Excellent Communication skills and ability to interact and manage customer expectations

• Understand of Security Industry Standards and Compliance Frameworks and Requirements (PCI-DSS, SOC2, FedRAMP, NIST etc.)

• Good analytical and problem solving skills with ability to find root cause of issues

•Experience in Vulnerability assessment using tools like tenable, nessus, qualys etc.

• Working experience on any one LINUX flavour (Red Hat, UBUNTU, DEBIAN etc) and LINUX system utilities

• Understanding of OWASP vulnerabilities and common network/application/API attacks
