Seasonal Warehouse Support Jobs

Previous experience in a fast paced, food warehouse environment is an asset

Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills

Basic written and verbal communication skills

Build and organize carts to fill orders

Fulfill order-picking tasks as assigned to meet deadlines

Assist in maintaining proper departmental housekeeping

Communicate with management any potential service issues with waiting clients.

Previous retail or luxury retail or Client related experience (i.e. hospitality, etc.).

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, Client service skills and the ability to prioritize while balancing multiple tasks is required.

Assist with engraving station where applicable.

Accurately lead floor waiting list if applicable.

Ensure hospitality area is fully stocked, orderly and clean.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency.

Will be a seasonal position, lasting until the end of August 2023.

Uses a radio frequency scanner to scan products for pallet identification.

Using a pallet jack, relocates pallets into the proper aisles from receiving docks.

Operate power equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Good communication skills (reading and writing) and strong customer service mentality;

Previous warehouse experience is preferred

Safely operate an end rider, including pre-shift and post-shift equipment check;

Lifting and loading food and other products onto pallets (up to 80 lbs);

Accurately selecting products using a computerized inventory system;

Scanning and placing labels on product and building pallet based on sequence;

You have basic writing and mathematics skills that allow you to complete required paperwork accurately

Walkie rider or forklift experience

Additional skills you may have (not required, these are assets)

Preparing clients’ orders using an automated Voice Pick system

Building stable, secure, and accurate pallets

Moving products that can weigh up to 60lbs

Experience in a Distribution Centre environment or similar

Highly competitive market hourly rates.

3-month contract with a strong probability of extension.

Provide Shift Pattern support (Night shift hours 10pm- 6.30am)

Possess a strong team-player attitude

Be a dedicated, hard-working individual with an eagerness to learn

Proficient with computers and data entry

Collaborate with material handlers to prepare items for shipping

Utilize computer to print shipping labels and invoices

Comply with safety regulations and guidelines

Ensure correct items are placed in boxes according to corresponding order

Utilize given equipment to ensure production efficiency
