Roadway Engineer Jobs

Knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, InRoads/OpenRoads or Civil3D with skills for mentoring and training entry-level staff.

4-8 years of civil / road design experience with an emphasis on design-build projects.

Experience in signage, an asset.

Experience in the preparation of sheets and sets of plans as well as in design-build projects.

Critical thinking with planning and conceptualization skills.

Coordinate the various professional bodies involved in design to ensure that project elements are integrated and constructible.

American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) Flagging, Traffic Control Technician or Traffic Control Supervisor certifications

Degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of related experience, preferably with Ontario Municipal Road and Provincial authorities;

Emphasis and proficiency with Microstation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D. Experience with earlier versions of Microstation and InRoads will be considered;

Design experience or Design-Build project experience a plus

General knowledge of engineering principles and materials for highway / civil work

Knowledge in MicroStation a plus

Highway design experience a plus

Basic skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

2 years minimum as experience in drafting
