Retirement Home Coordinator Jobs

Assist with documents management, and ensure treatments are going on as per Medication Administration Record (MAR).

Previous experience with acceptable references preferred

Successful completion of a personal support worker course or the equivalent

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Prolonged periods of standing and walking

Must be able to lift 75 pounds at times

Proven ability to multi-task and offer meticulous attention to detail

Experience in overseeing housekeeping department

Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules including cleaning and sanitizing rooms, bathrooms, common areas, laundry, etc

Coordinate education, infection control, quality improvement, best practice and risk management processes

Previous management experience considered an asset

Knowledge of computerized software and Resident Care Management systems is an asset

Responsible for managing labor relation concerns ensuring proper resolution to any concerns and performance management

Effective leadership, organizational and relationship building skills

Coordinate, implement and supervise the day to day operations of the Retirement Home

Superb organizational, time management and multi- tasking skills

2-3 years’ experience in a Retirement setting preferred

Knowledge of the Retirement Home Regulatory Authority legislation is required

Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential

Marketing and sales experience is an asset

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Retirement Home
