Delegate tasks to Clinical team under the oversight of the Challenge Unit Research Manager

Provide updates to Challenge Unit Research Manager on study progress and participant engagement

Handle appointment bookings, enrollments, and follow-up with under the supervision of the Challenge Unit Research Manager.

Maintain a current knowledge of the study status and important milestones

1+ years of experience with in-patient clinical research, specifically clinical trials

2+ years of relevant experience within a university research setting, hospital, or comparable environment

The ability to perform as a coach/mentor/consultant and to use sound critical thinking skills is key to achieving patient outcomes.

Recent (2 years) Medication and Aseptic Technique Certifications.

Neurological/neurosurgical, cardiac and medical experience would be an asset.

Current BCLS and evidence of continued education required.

Combined with sound patient care nursing skills must have effective interpersonal and organizational skills.

Recent (1-3 years) experience working with a high performance interdisciplinary team required.

Recent nursing experience in a mother-baby combined care setting required.

Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.

Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.

Bilingualism required (ability to understand and speak English/French)*

Recent acute medical nursing experience required.

Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
